Center of Excellence for Women in Technology Fall 2013 – Present Bloomington, IN
Working as the Graduate Assistant for the Center of Excellence for Women in Technology at Indiana University was a wonderful experience. I was there from the program’s inception, and was able to see it grow into the monumental and invaluable program it is today.
Although my work at CEWiT covered many areas, one of my biggest responsibilities was creating, editing, and maintaining the CEWiT Wire Newsletter. I designed and hard-coded it from scratch, tested it regularly on different browsers, and oversaw its distribution. I assigned written content to our intern team and wrote my own, editing and publishing material for both the newsletter and website. I also frequently worked with graphic designers and photographers to achieve a desired look for the organization’s online presence.
